IW arena builds
I'm looking for more builds using this elite skill so I figured I would start by giving out the one I made. It may be just what others have come up with but, again, I couldn't find it anywhere on the boards with the search function. I'll start us out with the one I've found to be most effective but any critique, suggestions, or alternate builds you guys have come up with would be appreciated
Me/W
Fast Casting 8+1
Illusion 12+1+3
Tactics 10
Equipment: Rogue's or Enchanter's armor...I usually pick Rogue's since it's more of a melle build. I usually use a Barbed PvP Sword of Enchanting and a +20%/+20% Illusion offhand.
Skills:
Illusionary Weapon [E] (illusion)
Flurry (tactics)
Deadly Riposte (tactics)/Spirit of Failure (inspiration....need to add a few points if chosen)
Conjure Phantasm (illusion)
Distortion (illusion)
Healing Signet (tactics)
Illusion of Weakness (illusion)
Res Sig (general)
Cast Illusion of Weakness and heal up before the doors open. Cast IW when still out of range so you won't be interrupted. Then alternate between Flurry and Distortion as required. If an enemy runs out of range from the main battlefield, just throw a Phantasm on them and find a new target. When a warrior attacks you, use Distortion and Deadly Riposte as much as possible. warriors without healers backing them up will not last long at all.
Strengths:
Blocking and evading is irrelevant. Prot Spirit doesn't help. With Flurry, this build can lay down immense damage in no time.
Weaknesses:
Enchantment removal makes you a Phancy Phantasm thrower with Distortion and Deadly Riposte. The only healing is a 2 second signet so you have to be sure to use it when you need to under cover of Distortion. Ele Spikes cut through you. Hexes hurt bad.
Overall:
This is not a super build, meant to take out every and all others.....but it's crazy fun to watch warriors and rangers attack fruitlessly while they die horribly from attacks they cannot block or evade.
